As has been stated in the past, all the cplayers (until now) used cheating to
make up for the fact that it is diffecult to build a cplayer that can manage
an Empire without it.

Hopefully, this will change all that.  I have gone to some effort
to develop routines which will replace all the cheating, and to modify play
to account for this.  How successful I have been remains to be seen - but
all the major cheats are gone.

As for the minor cheats, all of them that I know of are gone as well.  It IS
POSSIBLE that I have missed some.  The original CPLAYER (from which my code
is based) was laced througout with cheats, and finding all of them is quite a
chore.  As any are reported, I will be sure to get rid of them.

To that end, if you see any, PLEASE tell me about them.  I can't be sure to
catch all messages posted in the newsgroups, so if you can, email

With that said, there ARE some things which Dominate implements on its own
without using host:
  1) mkt - friendly codes set by cplayers are not recognized by the host,
     so Dominate builds torps on it's own.  Note that the rules are followed
     in doing this.  This is also true of fighter building.

  2) HYP - again, host ignores Dominates FCs, so I have to jump the ships on
     my own.

  3) Dark Sense - rather than try to parse out all the information from a
     dark sense message, I have internally implemented this as well.

Note that in ALL these cases, I have done my best to ensure that I play by
the rules.
